An idea, an image, a little motion
MemeToVideo turns meme ideas and images into short AI videos. Start with something that already makes you smile: a reaction template, a community meme, a pet photo, or an image you upload. Describe the movement you want and generate a video. You can also start with a written video idea in the creator.
You do not need a timeline full of effects to begin. A single raised eyebrow, a slow zoom or an awkward pause can carry the joke. AI results vary, so think of your first generation as a result to review, rather than a promise that every detail will match your instructions.
1. Choose your starting point
Templates are reusable starting points. Memes show you an idea someone has already made. Your own image gives you control over the subject. Open a template or meme and choose the video action, or use Create to start a new video. For a photo, choose the image-to-video option and upload your image.
Captioning a still image and generating AI video are different actions. If you only want text on a meme, use the image meme editor. If you want the subject or camera to move, use video creation.
2. Describe what should happen
Write one clear action in the video idea box. For example: βThe dog slowly looks toward the camera, pauses, then tilts its head. Keep the background still.β This is a suggested starting prompt, not a guarantee of a particular output.
Choose motion that supports the punchline. If the joke is disbelief, try a small expression change and a pause. If the joke is sudden realization, a camera push-in may work better than lots of unrelated action.
Choose free or ad-free generation
Choose Free with ads for unlimited videos, or Ad-free to spend one paid credit. Free videos include a watermark. Paid videos have no watermark. Check the public checkbox before generating.
Review your result
Watch the full result and check the motion and any text. Each video has one generation attempt, with no replacement or redo. Keep your result or start another video.
A good first project
Start with a clear, single-subject image and one small movement. This makes it easier to judge whether the result supports your joke. Browse the example videos for inspiration, then follow the first-video tutorial for a complete walkthrough.
