Describe movement in ordinary language
A motion prompt tells the generator what should happen. You do not need specialist camera vocabulary. Start with who moves, what they do and whether the camera should move. A clear instruction is easier to judge than a string of words such as ‘viral, cinematic, amazing’ that does not specify an action.
Use a simple structure
Try: subject + action + camera + pause. For example: ‘The person slowly raises one eyebrow. Keep the camera fixed, then hold the expression.’ These prompts are suggested starting points, not tested recipes or promises of exact outputs.
For an uploaded image, refer to the visible subject. For text-to-video, add a short setting and appearance description because there is no input image supplying those details.
Awkward pause
Suggested prompt: ‘The person looks toward the camera and remains still for an awkward pause, with only a subtle blink. Keep the camera fixed.’ This fits a joke where the situation itself is embarrassing. If the generator adds too much movement, shorten the instruction and emphasize stillness.
Sudden realization
Suggested prompt: ‘The character notices something surprising, opens their eyes slightly wider, and pauses. Use a gentle camera push-in.’ The camera cue should support the reaction. Avoid requesting a fast zoom, spinning camera and scene change in the same short clip.
Pet reaction
Suggested prompt: ‘The pet slowly tilts its head and looks toward the camera. Keep its body and the background mostly still.’ Start from a clear photo. If several animals appear, identify the intended subject and avoid asking all of them to do different things.
When the output misses the idea
If the subject changes, try a smaller action. If the scene is too chaotic, remove camera movement. If the joke is rushed, request a pause. If text becomes distorted, use a cleaner source or consider adding your caption through the meme editor rather than depending on generated lettering.
Do not assume a longer prompt fixes every problem. Change one instruction, inspect the result and decide whether the movement now helps the joke. AI generation remains variable even with a focused prompt.
